Marrakech Bazaar is a colourful Fair Isle yoke sweater with integral short-row shaping at the back of the yoke. It is worked top down, in the round and seamlessly.
The Fair Isle motifs have been devised so that there are no long floats and would suit someone new to this technique.
All instructions have been written in a clear step-by-step manner, with regular points to double check your stitch and row counts.
This sweater has been designed to be worn with a little negative ease at the bust and hip (and a little positive ease elsewhere). If you prefer a slightly looser sweater I suggest starting with the next size up for the yoke, then adapting the body and sleeve shaping (if necessary) to fit.

Yarn
Suggested yarn: Posh Yarn “Martha DK”, Skein Queen “Plump Exquisite” or similar (80% Merino, 10% Nylon, 10% Cashmere with 210 metres(230 yards) per 100 grams).
The specified yarns are smooth, plied yarns, with a good balance between resilience and drape, meaning that it will hang nicely when worn and shouldn’t stretch out of shape.
If you choose to use yarn with a different composition or structure, you may find that the resulting fabric behaves differently so your sweater may wear differently.
